OMG! Tummy ache! Better rush me to the hospital

He was ill and was taken to a hospital for observation. And you want to scream and whine about it? WTF? He is 86. he got sick and took an ambulance to the hospital. I guarantee his secret service details costs far more than that ambulance ride.

I guess he could have called cabs for himself, his family, and his secret service detail. Would that have been better?

Hack.

He wasn't even admitted.

He over-reacted and cost the health system for no good reason. Boo Hoo, my tummy hurts!

Seriously, if you defend this because he's old then you are part of the problem. People should not be able to waste resources like this.

Jimmy Carter called emergency services over a fucking tummy ache.

Seriously! Medics rushed him to hospital because he didn't feel good.

And you wonder why insurance costs so much. This should be paid by that peanut farming douchebag and NOT passed onto the insurance company where it ends up costing all of us.

What a wimp

"Found a peanut, found a peanut.
Found a peanut last night.
Last night I found a peanut, found a peanut last night.

It was rotten, It was rotten
It was rotten last night
Last night it was rotten, it was rotten last night.

Ate it anyway, ate it anyway
Ate anyway last night...."

You guys are so harsh.

Nausea and vomiting could be a heart attack symptom. The man is almost 90, for crying out loud.

I love the rush to judgment that this is all going to be paid by insurance. Anybody have anything to back that up, or is it just more Carter bashing?

What??? You don't like reverse Cheneyism or somethin'? You would be stomping on his body while on the gurney at the hospital to keep him down and you're going to pull the "can't we be nice to the old fart Carter card" now?

Fer chrissakes! :palm:

It's about time for one of these liberal bastards to croak, so the media can spend a week telling us what great and wonderful people they were, and how they tried to help the little guy as their political adversaries attacked and dogged them constantly.

...Just wondering, is Hilary currently in the country?

Bill is splashed all over the front of some rag magazine as being at death's door because of his heart, so yes, Hillary probably IS out of the country!! /sarcasm :fu:

A perfect example of why libs think so little of righties like you.

What an ass you are, and 85 year old man is ill and you make fun of him for spending the night in the hospital...

Many years ago, my dad's former boss took the same plane to the Middle East as Jimmy was on. When the plane landed, Jimmy went up and stood by the door, and made everyone shake his hand before they could get off the plane. The guy was floored by his ego. I just think its hilarious, and probably wouldn't have gotten pissed off. :D

It seems to me that you could equally see it as somebody trying to be accessible to the common people.

From: http://my.clevelandclinic.org/symptoms/nausea/hic_nausea_and_vomiting.aspx

"Nausea and vomiting are not diseases, but rather are symptoms of many different conditions, such as infection ("stomach flu"), food poisoning, motion sickness, overeating, blocked intestine, illness, concussion or brain injury, appendicitis, and migraines. Nausea and vomiting can sometimes be symptoms of more serious diseases such as heart attacks, kidney or liver disorders, central nervous system disorders, brain tumors, and some forms of cancer."

Part of the problem with our medical system is that we don't treat problems early. We wait until they are "serious" and then spend far more money with less good results.

Jimmy Carter is a former President of the United States. Like it or not, his medical care is part of his retirement package. If you dislike Carter, that is no biggie. I'm not a huge fan myself. But to make it sound as though his calling for an ambulance is some scandal is just more nonsense from our resident hacks.

Buckle up Bunky and stand prepared to take the full measure of what's been dished out in return. Hacks are on both sides of the aisle. I know this shocks you, but take an aspirin and get over it.

The same crapola gets spewed and was spewed ad naseum during the Republican Administration and continues to be spewed today, so save the sanctimonious bullshit for a crowd more gullible to your wascly wiles.

No doubtthere are hacks fom both sides. And they usually get calkled out.

I was simply throwingt my 2 cents worth in that complaining about the cost of an ambulance ride when an 85 year old former POTUS gets sick is being a hack.

I have joked about sending people hunting with Cheney, but never about his healthcare.
