Sticking someone in a cage for the rest of their lives is barbaric.
When a dog gets rabies, we do the 'humane' thing and put it down.
Pretty much all of Western civilization disagrees with that view.

It's a barbaric practice.
A few people unfollowed me on twitter last night. All I said was maybe they could say something about the crimes and the victims and shed a tear or two for them as well. I think that's pretty close minded, but also very typical of indignant liberals. I've dealt with them a time or two. Like on Assange. They are pretty funny when they get all hopped up on indignation. When you argue with cons they just call you a stupid whore and tell you to shut your dumb lady mouth. Liberals go all "i'm better than you" on you. It's interesting.

lol... they all thought the world was flat at one point too.
'Never take into account'... complete nonsense.
when a crime is horrific enough, the perpetrator forfeits their right to life. end of story.
Capital punishment should be used only in the most evidence locked cases. DNA, eye-witness, self incrimination, lawful arrest/search warrants. I also believe that all defendants in a Capital case should be afforded expert testimony to counter any of the States experts. That this expert testimony should be at the expense of the state, should the dependent not be able to afford it on his own.
But they are subject to this forfeiture at the hands of police and a system you claim is too corrupt. How do you reconcile this to your position on the death penalty?
my views on the death penalty have been very clear on this board. and though the machinery and system is itself corrupt, a jury of citizens is ultimately responsible for endorsing it or dismissing it.
Juries are also responsible for convicting those wrongly incarcerted people you post about, so I don't see how a jury cleanses the taint (he he) of a corrupt system.
I would be fine with banning all Capital punishment if the Government gauranteed me that these disgusting predators would never be released. But we have seen that life terms don't actually mean for life. Why is a brutal murdering dimwit like Manson eligible for parole hearings? It's really stupid that every five years or so, everyone who was involved has to convene and relive the brutal Manson murders to argue why this dunce should not be released back into society.
That isn't civilized, it's incredibly retarded.
most juries are idiots, as i've said numerous times. they are brainwashed by the corrupt system. the only blame they incur is allowing themselves to be sheeple by accepting the loss of their right to jury nullification

Each state have their own sentencing guidelines as well as parole guidelines. Changing the way these are administered is definitely needed. It's part and parcel of the injustice of our justice system. It's why I have moderated my view on CP. over the years.
The wheeling and dealing over sentencing, the income ; race;sex;physical appearance of defendants all play a part in what happens to a defendent in too many instances. Add to this how evidence is collected. What happens when a case is built circumstantially and the dependent does not have the financial ability to counter such evidence? Or a single victim eye witness testimony is used as the only non circumstantial evidence?
We all know since the advent of DNA that quite a number of men have been released, their lives in ruin. How many have been put to death who would have been freed?
OK, but if you think the system is corrupt and jurors and brainwashed by the system, how can you support the death penalty? I mean, I could understand the position that you support the idea of it being utilized in a proper justice system that is free from corruption, but I don't understand how a person with your views could support it in our current system.
Vengeance is mine sayeth the lord.
