Agreed. Either all the religions are taught or none of them. None is better since the focus should be on the 3 R's.

And there's a whole nuther thing about MAGAT hypocrisy. They don't want teachers to discuss anything to do with gender issues because "school is for teaching the 3 Rs." Now they want to make it four Rs -- adding religion, but only a certain one -- to the required curriculum.

Challenging as the language can be it always struck me as richly beautiful.

It is very poetic, but I think the message itself is more important than the delivery since, obviously, a lot of MAGA moron hypocrites are not understanding the message.

I wasn’t a believer myself even as a kid but I remember feeling a kind of wonder at the inspiration that had empowered this amazing writing
