The refusal to provide answers teetered on citable contempt. In fact he outwardly displayed actual contempt with his
accusations when all anyone on the left was doing was trying to get him to just answer relevant questions. In response
he deflected, altered the questions, went off on tangents and filibustered, all calculated to not provide relevant information.
That's what a person who is prevaricating does.

Now, in civil court, the standard is a preponderance of evidence. IMO her evidence on the fact of assault
preponderated over his self serving denial. She was more credible, calm, and as stated above showed
the opposite indicia of honesty. She answered every single question straightforwardly and without any resistance
or reframing, save one, and that one was because the question was not very intelligible.
