Oil Drops $30/Barrel In One Week Thanks To Biden

LOL. trump cut domestic production to aid Putin and S. Arabia.

Then Covid hit and demand crashed. When Biden's economy soared, the planned trump oil price hikes came to fruition.

How can Communists not understand that?

Hallucination. Trump did not cut domestic production.
Biden's economy is rife with high inflation and shortages, all as a direct result of Biden's policies.

It depends on whether Biden is as stupid as Carter by mandating price controls on gasoline. That of course trades high prices for shortages.
My guess is that the Brandon Regime would eventually mandate price controls on gasoline once prices got high enough (whether that be $5/gal or whatever other magic number the regime feels worthy to "take action against"), and they are already setting up the "greedy oil companies" narrative for the high prices since the "it's all Putin's fault" narrative isn't resonating as well as they had hoped. I suspect that this is because people can remember that gas prices have been steadily increasing ever since Biden usurped power (which was WAYYYY before Putin ever invaded Ukraine). It's also funny how, since 2008, the "greedy oil companies" have apparently only decided to "be greedy" during portions of Obama's two terms, and now during all of Biden's term (but not at all during Trump's term), but I digress.

Anyway, the "greedy oil companies" (EVIL! EVIL!) would get blamed for the existence of high gas prices, then Biden would "take swift action" against them by mandating price controls on gasoline. We both know full well what would happen from there, as price controls ALWAYS lead to shortages, in this case a shortage of gasoline.

Given the communist-loving path that this regime is currently taking, I feel that it's prudent to not dwell upon, but to still be as prepared as possible for, much worse things than the "cold dark winter" that Biden spoke of (I'm still alive btw... I was never in a hospital either... In fact, I never even got sick with anything at all... Funny, huh?? I digress again)...

If that happens we will have ration cards and lines. I'm pretty sure that even Brandon's puppeteers know that would be bad for their grip on power.

Yeah, Brandon's handlers are the most inept "leaders" I have ever seen in my lifetime. I mean, we haven't reached 14% (well, 13.something%) inflation like in 1980 under Carter, but we will reach it if they keep this up.

Economically, inflation was inevitable after COVID, and is a global issue.

Duh. The same exact Biden policies that caused the price to go up artificially.
Artificially, eh? Please teach me more about this, oh wise one...

... or maybe just let Into the Night teach about it instead like he did with your other question that you refused to answer...

Geebus.

Inflation in Germany is right around 3.21% right now. Brandon's policy has far outpaced the "global issue" excuse. When even his supporters can be immediately dismissed with a simple google search and a bit of information....

Seriously. I don't want him to suck this much, he just excels at sucking.

The US inflation rate is twice that of other developed nations, because we can't stop the spending. This is like Carter who literally had them print more money and increased inflation from 7% to 13% in two years....

Brandon is really trying HARD to ensure he's a one term President.

I don't see Into's posts, so I will never respond.

If you don't understand supply/demand, then this is the wrong thread for you.

Of course, you're still licking your wounds from your myriad 'this won't age well' claims when we told you that trump would lose to Biden.

At least get the criticism right. It's higher in the U.S. because of our much more severely we've been impacted by supply chain disruptions.

Biden ran as a one term POTUS.

trump's trade war with our former allies, coupled with the trump virus ravaging production of most goods, has created this supply chain issue. Still, we see record profits from the very companies that are hiking prices while claiming supply chain problems.

Same for oil companies.

It's quite possible that other nations were paying more than we were in the past, or they don't rely on China as much as we do for products.

True. Other nations were starving while Americans sat home and pumped billions into Bezos' coffers.

So much that he can waste billions on nonsensical space adventures.

Domestic production increased all throughout Trump's term (until the COVID fear mongering) because Trump and his policies ENCOURAGED increased production... What are you even talking about?

Then Covid hit and demand crashed.
For a lot of people I suppose... Personally? My demand for gasoline increased dramatically at that time. I took it as an opportunity to do a shit ton of driving to far away State parks that I otherwise wouldn't've done because doing that under $1.00 - $1.50/gal gasoline is much cheaper than doing that under even $3/gal gasoline, let alone $4+/gal gasoline.

When Biden's economy soared,
When was this, exactly?? I must've missed biden's soaring economy...

the planned trump oil price hikes came to fruition.
PARADOX. You've been arguing that presidents CAN'T control oil prices, remember?? You still haven't taken a definitive position on this... now you're back to acting as if Presidents CAN control oil prices...

How can Communists not understand that?
Projection.

You don't get to call it a "global phenomena" and then ignore that it isn't with yet another excuse trying to push bad policy on others. The reality: Brandon increased spending again when he got there, then when inflation started he doubled down with an absurd insistence that inflation would be relieved by printing more and spending it on a bunch of crap that was not infrastructure by calling it "infrastructure" in some nonsense Newspeak kind of idiocy.

Like Carter he wanted to increase the available money by printing up a bunch more. Carter nearly doubled the inflation rate in just 2 years. Biden is trying very hard to match this.

Inflation is a monetary phenomena, it doesn't come from "corporate greed", that's just babbling to hear noise.

You will find that Althea regularly discards history...even documented history. Apparently he can't cope with history, so he invents his own.

I've been seeing this more and more among Democrats.
Althea seems to have quite a bad case of it. He's also under the impression that there was a "soaring Biden economy" at some point (he used past tense though, so that must've subsequently ended... I bet that was Putin's fault though... or Trump's).
