"Sam Alito Says Criticism of Supreme Court Is Unfair: Practically Nobody Is Defending Us"

"Justice Samuel Alito would like everyone to know that criticism of him and his institution is very much hurting his feelings."

"Alito told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published Friday that attacks on the “legitimacy” of the high court are new during [his] lifetime. We are being hammered daily, and I think quite unfairly in a lot of instances. And nobody, practically nobody, is defending us”

"Alito insist that it’s the Left that trying to de-legitimize the Supreme Court."

"Alito is complaining that they are the victims in all this, because someone leaked his draft opinion in Dobbs a month early and people protested."

"Alito himself was reportedly the one who leaked the Hobby Lobby birth control decision to donors in 2014, before calling the leak a grave betrayal and blaming it on some angry left-wing law clerk.”

The only ones “de-legitimizing” the Supreme Court is the Robert's Court itself

If Thomas was the biggest clown in the circus, Alito certainly is a close second. I remember in the New York vs Bruen Sammy made the comment that don't tell him he knew everyone in Times Square was carrying. Sammy couldn't be any further removed from reality

Alito is a total humiliation to the Italian American community,
although our shame was halved
when Scalia finally found the decency to drop the fuck dead.

Roberts certainly agrees with you, as he inferred, there is no reasons for anyone to be concerned with the Court, it's not their business, the Justices can police themselves

This court, forever the Roberts Court, has proven they do need policing and a public code of ethics. In the dark crimes are committed. They need light on what they are doing.

Given that they make decisions that directly effect the lives of all Americans it certainly seems some sort of transparency as regard to ethics is necessary, would be nice to know if a Justice was influenced, swayed, or even bought and sold by outside entities. Lower Federal Courts have it, why not the Supreme Court?
