So naturally you *have* to say that such an advanced capacity has nothing to do with evolution. And on that we agree.

It shows advancement but most of it is technological advancement. We had nothing close to a space shuttle or even an understanding of what we might do with one all that long ago, for instance, in those days before the rise of Egypt. Our technology was only slightly more advanced than poking sticks in the ground. Our advancement from here to there had almost nothing to do with biological evolution (though it certainly armed or thumbed us a greater capacity to use tools). Technological advancement is not proof of evolution and does nothing really to address the proof of man's evolution.
