Oh Dear

Polling averages showed "leave" with a lead for most of the last month.

So, I'm pretty confident.

That's why all the bookies were giving the best odds for Brexit, they lost a packet!! You might also want to explain why the pound went up to 1.49 shortly before the vote only to drop- to 1.37 after the vote!! :palm:

Sounds like panic to me.

Go to Reuters. The 47-33 spread is the poll that came out on Friday.

I don't know why the Dems would be panicking...its only June........the Reuters-Ipsos poll came out Thursday.....I linked you to the data......you have different data?....

It's right on the Reuters site. I think they're doing the daily tracking poll now.

The OP isn't wrong. It's actually kind of funny that you're clinging to a poll w/ a 10 pt. lead for Hillary.

I'm not clinging to anything.......if you want to believe Hillary has it in the bag you feel free to do that......in fact, I recommend all liberals take a six month vacation......there is no reason at all to think of politics this year......

in the meantime, those interested in real polls can find them at RCP.....

Yeah, Trump's had a rough stretch for sure. The poll came out the same day as the Brexit vote so I wonder if it reflects that development or not.
Nope, it reflects his stupidity and the country realizing he is a reality show star and not Presidential material. He's in it for himself.

Okay. Since the last RCP shows polls up to Thursday, this one should be added in the next posting.

I expect you'll start to distance yourself from the polls in the coming months, and saying they're all skewed in favor of Democrats or something.

since they will continue to show Hillary losing ground in the swing states I expect I will be referring to RCP on a regular basis........

Wanted to snag this so you can't delete it.

We can revisit over the next few weeks. I genuinely think it's over for Trump. That press conference from the golf course had a "the end" kind of feel to it.

It's June lol. There is no panick/celebrating yet.

One consequence of Trump/Hillary high negatives is the 25% undecided. If it they're undecided that means they didn't 'vote' in the poll; and unless someone has a crystal ball, there's no telling how they will break.

My own take on the undecideds is that they don't really want to vote for Hillary and they're waiting for Trump to show some of the ever elusive and nebulous concept known as 'presidential'.

I still think the election is Trump's for the taking. Hillary's middle name might as well be 'Establishment' and there's an anti-establishment insurrection even on the democrat side; her credibility is in the tank with everyone but her most partisan supporters who wouldn't abandon her if she got indicted and thrown into federal prison.

Trump has a large swath of the electorate he will never get. But, Trump is the challenger and represents change in an election year when people of all persuasions are unhappy with the government.

It's going to come down to who persuades the undecideds and Trump has an excellent shot at them. If, he can stay on message.

Not with his "it's all about me" message, taking advantage of the housing crash, taking advantage of the Brexit crash, Hillary PAC makes an ad playing his comments over and over! He has no money to counter their ads! It is a good message as a business man, but as President it smacks of elitism and goes against his message of wanting to help the common folk.

His reaction to Brexit, from the golf course, was deplorable. They could just run that as a commercial for the next few months & win.

I also think this poll reflects reality setting in for Sanders supporters. Where before they would just knee-jerk a "no way" for Hillary to pollsters, they're now realizing it's either her or Trump.

I really think this one is over. I don't think Trump gets within single digits once between now & November.

You pegged it Onceler. We all sometimes forget the internet is not representative, particularly the loudest voices. The big majority of Sanders voters were always going to move to the nominee. The few loudmouths, first of all half of them are the Nadarites, and they don't vote dem in the first place...some of them are Paulites believe it or not. No, the actual dems are coming home.

I personally dislike Sanders to a point where it can make my blood boil listening to him. What would I have done if he was the nominee? I would have squawked called him a lot of names, cursed the douchebros...and then I'd have voted for him.

Same thing happening here.

fuck em when there is a profit to be made
