Official VP Debate Thread

seems to me that the independents viewed Ryan's summation better than Biden's........

Wolf Blitzer says "a draw".....

personally, I think Ryan rocked it.....

Biden's closing statement started off blaming Bush and ended up with the familiar "don't worry"....just hope....laughable

Whoever dreamed up this stupid format was obviously a pinhead. This has to be the worst debate from a 'debate' standpoint, that I have ever seen. The left-wing loon moderator is interrogating Ryan (thanks bravo, I was searching for a word) and he has to debate her and Biden at the same time, then Biden gets as much time as he wants to interrupt and interject whenever he pleases. When Biden is not speaking, he's laughing or grinning off-camera, looking like some smug condescending ass. Essentially every word that is coming out of his mouth is a lie, when it's actual things that make sense which can be fact checked. Biden comes across as an obnoxious jerk in every possible way... will that "WIN" the debate for him? We'll see!

Im not saying Biden did not interrupt, I'm saying do did Romney. Conservatives don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot!

Romney didn't interrupt while Obama was speaking, but did demand time to rebut Obamas claims....quite different...

I consider myself somewhat of an independent, and personally I came away liking Ryan better, Biden just came off as kind of a prick.

I'd say that was pretty even with a slight edge to Ryan. However, Biden needed a knockout and just looked like he was desperate to get everything they stuffed into his head out all at once. The constant interruptions looked unprofessional and actually made him seem weaker rather than "aggressive".

However, a democrat may see it as better than Obama and become slightly more encouraged so you have to give him some points.

The moderator did better later helping Biden quiet down and look a little better, but too little too late. Ryan's closing made it lean more to his side. Way better than Biden's, at least according to those watching (the little line below the screen)...

That's my summation, basically. Slight Ryan win when all he really needed to do is keep it even.
