O'Donnell upset

DIXIE: it does demonstrate how intolerant liberals can be when something challenges their liberal ideology.

BINGO!!!

Strawman, it will be interesting to see if the moderate Republicans in Alaska vote for Miller. My guess is they won't, so who does that leave, LR has a point!

Your guesses may or may not pan out, but you were wrong about Bill Walker, so let's wait and see.

The fact is the Tea Party movement is way more effective than all the people who ridiculed them here when they were in their infancy. There's something to be said when people unite for a common cause that we still have an impact no matter how much it's been maligned in the liberal strangled press.

The media tries to paint this group in the worst light because they're afraid of them. Rather than acknowledge this is a vocal group and a fairly diverse cross section of represented voters, they choose to demonize them and assign them strict Republican party affiliation. Then the predictable right wing slams follow like clockwork. It's all they got.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, they're causing things to happen and the voices of a fairly large section of people are being heard. That's pretty goddamn terrific in my book!

Which is about what she had starting out against Castle, isn't it?

Maybe so, but the same things that Republican primary voters liked about her seemingly turned a lot of other people off. In August she had a 26% unfavorable rating, now she has a 50% unfavorable rating.

A TRUE Republican kickin' these RINO's out! :lmao:

The tea party will restore us to the TRUE CHRISTIAN REPUBLIC the FOUNDERS INTENDED! :cof1:

LAME-

TEA Party adherents subscribe first and foremost to smaller government and lower taxes. They have various ideas on how to best accomplish this, but the story pretty much follows the plan of cutting/freezing spending; repealing obama care; keeping Bush tax cuts; incentives (tax breaks) to business and investors to jump start the economy conveying an attitude of confidence…and lastly dealing with the border.

Yep, getting rid of these COMMUNISTS and restoring HONOR to AMERICA~~~~~

In fairness that's not what the original TEA party was about. They've been successfully infiltrated by the main leg of the RP.

Really? Because it sure seemed like Karl Rove and other Beltway Republicans were pretty stunned Castle lost. The National Republican Senatorial Committee backed Castle, not the TEA Party.... that's odd, if the TEA Party is the "main leg" of the RP, don't you think? ....But of course, you don't think! How silly of me!

SS is part of the "it's cool to be stupid" crowd.

Its a common enough story.

Back in the 80s, Bill Baxley was the democratic party's favorite candidate. However, Charles Graddick won the primary election. Baxley took it to the Alabama Supreme Court on the grounds that he claimed Graddick encouraged republicans (scarce in AL back then) to vote in the dem's primary. The court said either hold another primary or have the party name the candidate to represent them.

The party named Baxley. The people were so pissed off they elected a primitive baptist minister named Guy Hunt as gov. He was the only republican candidate. Since no republican had won the gov's race since reconstruction, no decent candidates ran under that party.

Bill Baxley is one of my favorite Alabama politicians. I loved his answer to the KKK after they threatened him. But when the party ignored the people......
: O'Donnell wrote in "The Case for Chastity" that she knows many "physical" virgins who are not "sexually pure." That's because these women look at porn, O'Donnell wrote. O'Donnell and her supporters believe that sexuality is "a gift from God," that should be saved for marriage for the purpose of procreation.

Okay, all you guys, put away your porn and no more looking at women unless you just have pure thoughts! This is the America you people are voting in! they will come for you, too! ahahahahahahahahahahaha

"Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery. You can't masturbate without lust."

Ahahahahah, no lust while masturbating, just clear your mind! think of nothing, problem solved!

I am sure she will be just as "smart" on the business of governing! ahahahahahahahaha

"There's only truth and not truth," she said. "You're either very good or evil. I went back to my dorm and asked myself what I was."

No gray for these baggers, only black and white and that is what scares me about them the most!

"During the primary, I heard the audible voice of God," she said. "He said, 'Credibility.' It wasn't a thought in my head. I thought it meant I was going to win. But after the primary, I got credibility."

She ran, lost the primary to Jan Ting and ran as a write-in candidate. She lost again.

She hears voices in her head...why is that okay for politicians but not for others?

That's probably what I like about them most....at least morally speaking. There is no gray area for me either when it comes to morality. But what worries me about them is that there seems to be no gray area when it comes to taxing and spending. I fear some great programs of government will suffer along with some that really need to go. It is the great ones that I am concerned about.

She attended her university's commencement ceremony in 1993 but did not receive a degree, due to outstanding unpaid tuition. In 1994, Fairleigh Dickinson sued her for $4,823, winning a judgment in New Jersey for the entire amount, according to court documents. The debt was paid in 2003.[11][12][3][3] After O'Donnell completed a final general electives course in the summer of 2010,[11] Fairleigh Dickinson awarded her a bachelor's degree in English literature.[11][12]

NICE! and this is who Delaware is considering for office! I love it! She will be great at her job!

The IRS has filed a lien and said that O’Donnell owes $11,000 in back taxes, but O’Donnell says that it was a mistake and a “computer error.”O'Donnell noted that the IRS agent handling the matter claimed he was perplexed by the agency's actions. She listed herself as self-employed and said she was doing "odd jobs" to make ends meet.

O'Donnell, who is single, has worked as a marketing consultant She has provided political commentary on numerous Fox News television programs, such as The O'Reilly Factor,The Live Desk, and Glenn Beck. She has been supportive of the Right to Life and made negative comments toward pornography and premarital sex.
