No, you must be thinking of someone else. I've been married for many years. But we did live in sin for 13 years. She laid down the law, and said marry me, or I'm leaving. So I did. We've been together since 1991. She wasn't really going to leave me, and I knew that. I was irrationally afraid of marriage.

On a side note, we were married in Vegas, by an Elvis impersonator. True story. We have the VHS tape to prove it.

Not true, I take nothing in the Bible out of context. Honestly, it's people like you who do that, because you don't want to believe what is in the Bible. And again, that's fine, you have every right to do that. But one day, you will regret it.

There are many verses, here are a couple. But do we really want to go through this exercise? You won't be convinced, as you have already indicated with your above comments.

Thanks for the reference, I'll check it out. But have a feeling if you agree with it, it's likely not anything more than another series of false teachings about the Bible.

Coming to the light? Actually that is completely untrue, they are becoming more and more of a buffet style denomination, picking and choosing the bits they like and don't like. And for the record, the Methodists have been a liberal church for quite some time now.

We all sin, and you're right, it's not up to me to judge who gets to heaven, that's up to God and God alone. And I'm not really complaining as much as pointing out. I believe people should be free to make their own decisions, as long as they don't harm anyone. But I'm not going to pretend some of those decisions aren't sin, or contrary to the teachings of the Bible.
