What else can it mean? Communities said they were running out of money to pay the public servants (IE: Police) and the tea party was against Obama supplying money.

hey, i need money too, but i still don't support the stimulus. see....when i need money i either work extra or cut spending elsewhere. that is what the tea party stands for. it is disingenuous at best to claim that because one doesn't support the stimulus, they don't support funding police. the argument is really downright dishonest.

The facts are, that those, are what democrats love to trot out when cuts are discussed. Let's scare voters so we can raise taxes. Indeed, it's why emergency services as well as teachers; police; and fire budgets are kept in the general fund while other government expenditures are not. Imagine if those services had their own fund. A fund that could not ever be used for any other part pf government. A fund that specific taxes went into and could not be reallocated. "Poof" would go the leverage for democrat politicians.

Your economy is, at last, showing positive signs of improvement, you have a medical welfare system that, in time, will be the equal of some of the less advanced first world countries and, under Obama, you are beginning to regain your position in the world.
