I have a theory... I think I won. I think what I have been striving to prove is finally proven. The election of DJT has illustrated the Republican position as morality police is a clear fraud. The Religious Right capitulated. They supported this person who is a fallen man who has not been "born-again" who is not an evangelical or by many definitions a Christian.

The morality enforcers lined up behind a man who has had numerous affairs, is married to his third wife (a former porn star), Had a child out of wedlock, lies constantly and then laughs about it when it becomes clear...

The RR has capitulated, and I am okay with a Trump presidency, I disagree with a lot of what he is planning and don't see him as an honest or intelligent person, he has no class, but I don't think he is dangerous. His ego will, hopefully prevent him from doing anything too stupid, and maybe some good will come out of a four or eight year dufus presidency. It has already started a much needed re-organizing of the Democratic party which would not have happened if HRC had been elected.

Amazingly, I pretty much agree with you in everything you stated here.

Other than SCOTUS choices for the next two generations, I think pretty much exactly what you say here. (Please remember that gay marriage was decided while Scalia was in office).

As for being burned-out, I'd say the whole Trinity is, as well, because we all started posting on these forums in our teens (WM was about 12). With the exception of this past year, we mostly just come here to be entertained. Brent stopped posting about 2-3 years ago entirely. Billy has stopped posting and merely hangs around in the Admin pit, the way Socrtease does. Basically, you are not alone, but starting off as a youth seems to guarantee burnout.

in the whole run up to this election I TOLD y'all that Trump is playing the conservatives and he will resort to the very same establishment statism that has run amok in federal politics for 30 years. Am I being proven wrong? pay very close attention to the posts in which I participate in. I will be calling out you hypocritical and broken hearted liberals every bit as much as I will state that Trump is an idiot who knows nothing about the constitution. losing citizenship over a flag burning? please. don't even try to paint me as some sort of secret conservative because you supported a candidate that couldn't even beat Trump.

You state that trump is an idiot who knows nothing about the constitution but you haven't criticized all those who voted the idiot into office. And that's my point.

A really smart person could see almost immediately that trump is the most unqualified person ever to be elected president. And this has nothing to do with Hillary. I'm talking about trump alone, not who he ran against.

and like i said the day after the election, this campaign came down to which party could find the worst possible candidate to run for president and the dems won. If you need to take that as me saying that trump is a good candidate, you need to have your head examined.
