Oh, and thank God he cut his vacation short, that hurricane could have been so much worse if he hadn't returned to work! We're fortunate to have such a wonderful man serving us, what a great personal sacrifice to make for the sake of saving lives... Bush would have just sat in Crawford and let the hurricane kill folks... Obama acted, and thanks to him, many people's lives were saved.... what a man!

It's so interesting that you think you debunked it. There were images on TV for over 24 hours of people stranded in floods before Bush cut his vaca short.

Obama proactively cut his short before any disastrous effects came about.

We don't have to speculate on what Bush would have done. He DID just stay in Crawford, while there was a void of leadership and people were stranded & struggling.

Nah; you don't have to be too smart to see the difference. Bush was widely criticized for staying on vacation while people were stranded in the streets.

Obama cut his vaca short prior to anything that you would deem disastrous or life-threatening.

lol...so you point to the far left's criticism as proof. what a hack. obama left his vacation barely a day early and it was also due to the fact the storm was heading his way. it is dishonest of you to claim bush did nothing about katrina while on vacation. it was a working vacation you dishonest hack. you act as if the two vacations were alike and you dishonestly act like the two storms were alike.

Katrina has gone down in history as one of the Bush admin's big failures. If you try to tell anyone who isn't a total Bush lover that it wasn't a failure, they will laugh at you. Many Republicans even acknowledge this.

But in Yurtworld, it's just a few far lefties screaming about it; otherwise, the admin did all it could.

A huge part of the failure was the lack of leadership for the 1st 2 days of the crisis. And where was that leadership? Vacationing in Crawford.

His cutting his vaca short was reactive. I still think it's madcap hilarity that you think it was somehow proactive.
