The Repubs will take it right to the last day and that will be the time for Obama to find some reason to keep the crisis alive while making it look like the Repubs are to blame. With the people in the large majority on Obama's side now it shouldn't be hard to make it look like it's the Repub's fault.

It's an opportunity to destroy the Repub mainstream as well as the baggers in one move.

All indications of how he's played the baggers within the GOP show that he's probably smart enough to pull it off.

And then just think how the baggers will be running to get their guns to settle a score with an uppity black guy!!

The Teabillies are holding our government hostage because our President will not cancel the ACA.
This morning, Lindsay Graham publicly admitted defunding the ACA is a lost cause, and the GOP should re-open the government, but Teabillies will not allow it.

Yes, and Obama needs to keep it framed just that way. A refusal to raise the debt ceiling is now going to be blamed on the Repubs and that's what needs to happen. Obama needs to let it happen or even extract some concessions from the R's in bargaing over it. This fight has clearly been won by Obama.
