Man collapses with ruptured appendix... three weeks after NHS doctors 'took it out'

You just can't make this shit up.....

If it was common would the Daily Mail have printed it? Shall we start posting all screw ups here? I'll never forget the Magic Marker Yes-NO on my wife's chest before she went in for cancer surgery, they didn't put that on for fun. Get serious, we could have a thousand posts here on US/worldwide medical screw ups which would prove nothing. Your gotcha is a notcha.

Yeah, malpractice NEVER happens in the US because of our superior health care system.

The English system has nothing to do with Obama's proposals anyway. You guys are all fucking retarded.

I wish you guys would approach this issue with some consistency....I can remember several times, when pressed on the bill, the left's response has been that this isn't Obama's proposal, it's Congress.....

Can he sue? Tom? Charver? Some recompense for their idiocy must be available?

Yes, he could sue the NHS Trust provided his claims are accurate.

He could also take his employers to an industrial tribunal for the loss of his job.

Who cares? No one is talking about instituting an NHS style system, not Congress and not Obama.

Good. Can he get paid for years? I mean, taking out the wrong organ or cutting him open and just not doing what they were supposed to has to be worth some serious coin....

And his employer would likely see the story and hire him back if it is found to be truthful.

He could potentially claim for loss of earnings and the physical effects on his body and mental state.

(The eventual figure would take into account loss of future potential earnings if applicable)

Of course you are, as they show the UK system in all its glorious disarray.

Personally, i don't feel the need to argue with citizens of other countries about healthcare.

You're happy in the US with your system and i'm glad that you're not here. So we're both happy in the end. :)

Maybe we can send our liberals over to you and you send your conservatives over to us, in a one-to-one trade.
