Obamacare II, will it pass?

SO they are trying to revise Obamacare and put together a package limiting some of its features and monkeying with Medicaid.

The vote is currently scheduled for Thursday... Rump is lobbying hard for it, after a brief period of trying to separating himself from it.

What are your thoughts? Will it pass? Should it pass?

I am happy either way, if it passes then we will continue to have a form of Obamacare for years to come...

If it fails, and they don't come back with a new repeal bill, we will get to keep Obamacare in its current for for years to come.

Its win win for the liberals

Trump wins either way, if it does not pass then Obamacare fails completely on it's own merit and Trump has to step in and save the now uninsured. What Trump is doing now is trying to avoid that for the sake of the poor.

So Trump can't lose.

Got that kid?

Funny how differently we see it. What if it does not pass and Obamacare does not implode ?

Obamacare has next to no insurers, and with Trump in office they have no rational to keep losing money with Obamacare. Obamacare is already dead, like an AIDS patient with a pneumonia, it's just a matter of time. When it dies if it is still in use 100 percent have no insurance

Recent polls show a majority of Americans support Obamacare and millions signed up for 2017. Congress people are having a tough time at town halls because supporters and users don't want it repealed. trump hasn't offered anything better, that was just another in his long list of lies.

It looks like lots of horse trading is going on, Trump is twisting lots of arms, seems he really badly wants this passed.

It does not matter what Americans support, if there are no insurers backing the plan. You always been stupid?

Uh...no.

Whats your take?
It's a lose, lose for everyone vested in controlling the runaway costs of our healthcare system and improving health outcomes at all levels.

The ACA was a step forward in bringing our backward health management system into the 21st century. It comes close to providing coverage, at some level, for all. Where the ACA has failed and failed spectacularly is on ending the free rider problem (i.e. moochers on the system like Grind) and controlling and standardizing costs.

Ryanpayordiecare is a step backwards as many will lose coverage and others will see their coverage costs soar, meaning they won't be able to afford coverage which will exacerbate the cost problem, etc.

So on the whole there is no question that the GOP Ryanpayordiecare is consistent with GOP philosophy...just not hypocractic or humane philosophies.

This will come back to bite the GOP in the ass as the ideologues are forgetting the #1 rule of being a Republican. What's good for business is good for everyone. This is not good for business.
