My argument was that trying to politicize something that has nothing to do with politics is pathetic and insincere. If an Incel does something for Incel reasons, then it makes sense to include the fact that the guy is an Incel.

Search for headlines with the phrase "Trump supporter" and you'll see dozens of examples of the left taking a crime and pasting republican stickers on it to claim Trump is driving crazies out of the woodwork. It's been going on for two years now. I doubt you haven't seen it. You just ignored it.
