I did what you said; I read over the thread. I was quite pleased at how civil I was, even when provoked many times.

You, on the other hand - whew! Maybe you should read it over, and see who does the lion's share of insulting (on this, and pretty much any other thread).

I said it was a dishonest implication; it is. That's not the same as calling someone a "liar," which is your territory. One is impugning a comment; the other is impugning a person's whole character.

Reading through the thread, I didn't see one insult from me. All the hacks, liars & whiners came from you.

also, not that i wholly condone the backlash against those who didn't support bush immediately after 9/11....it wasn't just conservatives. american fever took hold of the country, nationalism, patriotism were at a fever pitch. being attacked in the homeland like that is not even comparable to what is happening now.
