History books will show Obama was tough on poker and pot,
but that's NOT what Americans want him to focus on.

Maybe he should spend less time going after pot smokers and poker players
and put some more time and effort into creating jobs?

Why don't you legalize pot
instead of busting harmless smokers?

He was a strong advocate of decrim until he became the big shot/ big sell out. He will lose millions of votes over this.

imo, they are not. you don't have to buy the product. and alcohol and marijuana are different than other commercial goods. with the freedom to experience those drugs legally, comes costs. be it DUI's, drug treatment etc. I would rather be taxed for buying the good than having the good outlawed.

And I'd rather them not taxed at all. I will gladly settle for taxes and legalization, but if/when that day comes, it will not satiate me. I WILL fight those taxes. Taxing things beyond the means of people simply creates a black market. Look at tobacco bootleggers.
 
I'm a medical marijuana patient. I never pay for any weed. I belong to a co-op of patients and we can legally grow 15 plants apiece. We have indoor and outdoor grows, depending on the time of year. We have way more than enough of many varieties of high quality medicine.

Lot of funny things going on in my state right now.

Billy, the government needs revenue, and it's better to get it off of taxing things that don't have any value whatsoever. I pay my taxes on alcohol, and someone else can pay taxes on weed. Just leave our productivity and livlihood alone.

The government needs to spend less and collect revenue more effectively by eliminating corporate welfare and simplifying the tax code. Taxing more just creates more tax cheats and black markets.
