WASHINGTON – A day before the pivotal midterm elections, President Barack Obama pulled back from remarks he made last month when he called on Latino voters to punish their "enemies" on Election Day. In an interview Monday with radio host Michael Baisden, Obama said he should have used the word "opponents" instead of enemies.

President George W. Bush, in an address to a joint session of Congress on September 20, 2001 said, "Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists."

He said this on the floor of Congress, to me this is a far worse thing to say!

Obama explained his comment, but of course, bravo and you know what he meant more than he knows what he meant. It was a poor choice of words, he is learning, isn't he!

I haven't embarassed myself, at all. I'm just pointing out your many embarassments.

You have a lot of little embarassments in threads you don't start, but it's the ones you start that tend to be much more glaring. I keep telling you to think a bit before hitting submit, but apparently, it's not sinking in yet...
