Fact is, they're getting as much help from the gov't as they can hope to get for a private spill; there are 16 agencies involved, but the cost & liability for the clean-up ultimately lies with BP.
It's so absurd to try to compare this to Katrina, and Bush's woeful handling of that crisis. Yurt...do you have any specifics on where Obama has fallen short? Any public cries for more accountability...any real criticism of his failure to respond or act?
You're right NO COMPARISON; by scale this is a much smaller and therefore EASIER disaster to have gotten a handle on...right?
