Show me the mistakes Obama has made on BP & in the response to this that are comparable to the Bush mistakes I cited.

obama...who is heading up the clean up process? they don't seem to be doing a good job, so equal there...slow...obama has taken longer than 3 days, to my knowledge, he hasn't even flown over the affected area...for now, this seems about equal....

No one is even suggesting a "flyover" for an oil spill; it's truly ridiculous to compare these 2 situations. Lives aren't in danger here; people aren't trapped. This is an economic & ecological disaster.

I don't blame Bush for delaying his "flyover." I didn't like his lackadasical, delayed response to such a crisis situation, but that has little to do with a "flyover." He was there, 2 days prior, assuring them that the Feds were ready for anything; he's the one who appointed a crony - a guy who worked with stallions, & who had NO emergency experience.

I understand that in your world, Bush was a bystander during his Presidency, and bears no accountability. However, he made clear mistakes & miscalculations with regard to Katrina, and that is part of history.
