BRAVO is an idiot

Is Bill Clinton a false Democrat?

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
--President Bill Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998

If you want to see lefties make fools of themselves, all you have to do is have a little knowledge of the facts and then start asking questions. They're more than eager to spin a lie to cover up the truth.

these do not speak of prior attempts.

"Saddam Hussein has been engaged in the development of weapons of mass destruction technology which is a threat to countries in the region and he has made a mockery of the weapons inspection process."
-Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D, CA), Dec. 16, 1998

"engaged..."

PAST tense.

"Hussein has ... chosen to spend his money on building weapons of mass destruction and palaces for his cronies."
-- Madeline Albright, Clinton Secretary of State, Nov. 10, 1999

"chosen"

PAST tense...in other words...In the past.

Too easy.

I love it when you guys go down this road. No matter how many times you get hit with the facts whenever you attempt to rewrite history, you keep doing it. Talk about beating a dead horse......... Look at the dates on these quotes and tell us who was the President. Dumb asses.

<snip>

I love it, too. You geniuses completely ignore the facts that don't fit with your talking points. Your tunnel vision's going to be the death of your party. We've already seen what it did in the last election. Read the article linked at bottom and then get back to me.

"When former U.N. chief weapons inspector David Kay told the Senate Armed Services Committee in January 2004, “We were all wrong,” he was admitting that officials had been wrong to claim Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. The we-were-all-wrong trope entered the political lexicon as a mea culpa, but today the White House and its media defenders employ it as a defense of a war started over phantom weapons. We may have been wrong, they argue, but so were the Clinton administration, congressmembers of both parties and other Western intelligence agencies..."

“...That’s why more than 100 Democrats in the House and the Senate, who had access to the same intelligence,” Bush told a Pennsylvania audience, “voted to support removing Saddam Hussein from power...”

"...Following Bush’s speech, the White House’s media supporters took to the airwaves to echo his defense. Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund, appearing on CNN’s Lou Dobbs Tonight (11/11/05), told the host: “One of the things we have to recall here is, every leading Democrat, including the Democrats who had access to the same intelligence information like Jay Rockefeller, approved of the war in Iraq.” National Review editor Rich Lowry told PBS’s NewsHour host Jim Lehrer (11/11/05), “Many Democrats were saying the same thing because they were all looking at the same body of intelligence.” On November 13 Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace declared (11/13/05), “Democrats saw basically the same intelligence the president did and made statements, by and large, that were just as alarmist...”

BUT...

"...Ritter pointed out that Cheney was omitting an inconvenient part of Kamel’s story:

Throughout his interview with UNSCOM, a U.N. special commission, Hussein Kamal reiterated his main point—that nothing was left. “All chemical weapons were destroyed,” he said. “I ordered destruction of all chemical weapons. All weapons—biological, chemical, missile, nuclear—were destroyed.”

In a Baltimore Sun column (9/1/02) calling for the resumption of inspections, Ritter pointed out that earlier inspections had been able to verify a “90 percent to 95 percent level of disarmament,” including “all of the production facilities involved with WMD” and “the great majority of what was produced by these facilities...”

Because he was a crook, a liar, a bigot, a racist and anti-Semitic.

Sammy Davis Jr. was a Black Jew and I remember seeing him giving Nixon a big hug.

President Barak Hussien Obama objected and said had he been in Congress he would not have voted to give Bush authorization.

No shit Dick Tracy....what else would you expect him to say....
its obvious what he says and what he does are two different things....Gitmo, taxes, unemployment, Afghanistan, immigration...just to name a few.
He'll say whatever is politically expedient....

Like he claimed he said 9/11 was terrorism on 9/12, yet 5 days later he sends Ms. Rice out to say it was a spontaneous mob....and 2 full weeks later he was still
making that false claim
You really need to open you eye a little see wtf is going on and just accept what huffington and Jon Steward to you....

I'm not lying about anything. Congress voted to give Bush authorization to use force if necessary. It wasn't a resolution to invade; that was Bush's decision.

That's like saying the framers of the Constitution voted to invade.

Yes you are lying.....its was a war resolution....how the war was fought was a military decision.....
Have you EVER hear of Congress voting on HOW A WAR IS WAGED, fool....do they vote on guns or knives, missiles or artillery, carriers or submarines....
Did Congress vote on the D-Day invasion, or the Dresden bombing ?

you're making as ass of yourself and to dumb to realize it....
Your argument is childish and lame in the extreme....

If I was a liberal I'd be embarrassed to have you on my side....

It wasn't a war resolution. Are you trying to argue that every time you use force, it's war?

Your apologism is one of the most embarassing things I've seen on this site. You still haven't answered me - what do you owe Bush, anyway?

And yes - Congress DID approve WWII.

Why don't you google Iraq 'war resolution' and see what comes up, idiot....

Then brush up on you spelling those bigger words....

And I didn't ask you if Congress approved WWII....so learn to read whats is written....

You sound angry. It isn't healthy to be a hack apologist.

You brought up events in WWII and said Congress didn't approve them; they did.

And you're relying on google? Why not read the resolution, and tell me where it says we declare war, or announce our invasion of Iraq. I mean, that's just silly. You don't seem to know what you're talking about.
