The great thing about this is that the bigots are shrinking in numbers. Reason for that is, the people with the most entrenched bigotry are seniors, and they are shuffling off as nature takes its course. Younger people are very pro-gay rights, and people in between are less entrenched in their views and are coming around. Within a few short years gays will be legally able to marry, and will serve openly in the military. With the marriage, you are seeing them gain their rights state-by-state, which is how all great social movements begin here.

What's really fun is imagining the depraved frustration repressed head cases, bigots, and haters are feeling and are going to continue to feel as gays gain more and more rights. The human race moves along. That's what it's always done, and the repressed head cases, bigots, and haters have always lost in the end.
