I don't understand what the liberal fixation is with health care. I mean, with all the assorted problems facing us, the prospect of a busted Social Security system, spiraling cost of education, the national debt, radical jihadists out to behead us all... and the liberals can't stop dreaming of the day when everyone can go to the fucking doctor for free? Is this honestly the first and foremost thing on their minds from the time they wake in the morning until they go to bed at night? Really? Even though, we already have a provision for the poor to obtain health care, through Medicaid, and the elderly, through Medicare, and even the indigent who can't afford any costs at all... even with all that, they still seem to be obsessed with establishing some nationalized monstrosity we can't pay for, which will ultimately destroy the best health care system in the world.
It's really bizarre to me, I can't get what they hope to gain, or why it's so freaking important to them. It's like a mayor who campaigns on the promise to "clean up the city" and then spends four years fixated on removing chewing gum from the bottom of the subway seats... it makes little to no sense at all.
