It does when you base the argument on "Those Christians are just as bad." as you were doing.

Hence the questions. Now you see it as preposterous as I do to compare the two by saying.... "Seven zillion years ago Christians did it too, so they aren't any better!"

It doesn't matter who did it in the past it matters today who is doing it now, and the "They do it too" argument is a confession, not a valid reason to continue such policy or ignore it if it is being used against you.

Arguing, "Our own actions help those Islamic radicals recruit" is a far better argument than "Christians did it too!"

I meant all people not just christains or Jews or Muslims or Pele whorshipers or athiests or buddists or any people who believe anything.

People all through history have used any belief to obtain power and domination.

My point was these people are no different than any other people walking the earth or who have walked the earth.

Dont help them recruit by getting caught up in their hate game.
 
It depends on what you mean by Jihad and Jihadism. The radical uses of Jihad are extreem. Jihad used differently, as a justification for war in certian circumstances, is no different that what we do in the United States, or how Christianity justifies killing in a war setting.

Don't commit suicide by playing the stupid game. When they say they want to kill infidels, you should believe them. They do. Or are you ready to convert to islam to avoid conflict?

Wrong, I know several muslams whos mosk does not promote killing non-Muslams. In fact they are holding classes for non-muslams to educate them on this very issue. They specifically state they will not be attempting to convert anyone, merely educate the public on basic tenates of non-radical Islam.

Plenty of Muslam groups belive that Jihad is merely a war in which you have to fight to defend yourself from agressors. Its akin to what a declared war is for us.
