Nope, I have just finished reading a very power article on structural racism in the USA, it exists, still...Katrina showed us that in so many ways!
You all so want to hide the card up your sleeve, it is still there, sorry! It is so engrained it is hidden by so many and some aren't even aware of their prejudices until confronted. I think you and Superfreak also put ideas out there that have not been expressed... you read a lot in between the lines! Go back and re read the comments! I see racism from both parties and I have seen people be shocked by the racism they didn't know they had within them. Another example the neighbor who thought property values would go down because a black family moved into the neighborhood, this was a woman who would not consider herself a racists! but guess what, she is!

yes blacks and Latino's hate each other in LA. Blacks hate Asians in Oakland and Berkeley. I think you live in an all/mostly white enclave. Come spend some quality time in real diverse cities and you'll see some real non-white hate.
