Dung has a bad habit of not comprehending what is written. The tax haven I was referring to was the one provided to family trusts that existed pre 1987. Those trusts are not subject to the estate tax. Providing old money families tax havens that never meet the estate tax. How is keeping money there any different than keeping money in a Swiss account?

You think the Swiss banking regulations are the way they are because the Swiss are a kind and generous people and not because the Swiss make money on it?

But I know... you liberals only buy things made in the USA. You don't buy any foreign goods at all. You don't bank with foreign owned banks at all. You all crack me up.

Isn't is self-evident how doing nothing (leaving money in a family trust) is different from opening a Swiss bank account and parking money there?

First, you seemed to be questioning the fact that the Swiss make money. So, a direct response to your question doesn't strike me as a "straw man."

In any event, here we go again way down the ladder. Having Swiss bank accounts and investments in tax havens is the same thing as buying foreign produced goods because foreigners make money on them. So I guess Obama's a hypocrite for wearing Nikes or some shit. That ought to make a great attack ad.

Obama stopped Bin Laden. Bush sent his family members back to Saudi Arabia without allowing the F.B.I. to question them.
