He failed to create even close to the jobs promised in the stimulus, yes a slush fund form more jobs/ahh hem democrat payoffs is exactly what's needed.

great point....correct me if i'm wrong....but i don't think even half the stimulus has been spent....yet the president is already eyeing billions more from money that HE signed on as going to go directly to reducing the deficit...

wtf does he need more money if not even half the stimulus has been spent?

major problem with this line of thought is that the money won't go to reducing the deficit, obama and the dems have already shown that when they get money they want to ignore the law and instead of paying down the deficit as the bill requires, they want to take it and spend, spend, spend, despite not spending all of the stimulus....
 
When was the last time democrats gave back tax money in form of tax cuts?? Seriously? has it been 20-30 years?
 
the left is still claiming Obama cut taxes when he altered the withholding schedules.....you will have to wait until the reaction comes to the reduced tax refund checks next spring before you will get them to awaken to the fact it wasn't a tax cut......

I'm struggling to come up with something other than democratic payoffs as a good reason for it. Obama worked Bush like a rented mule on spending, now he's 10x worse. WTF indeed.

About 300 billion in tax cuts. There were more tax cuts than actual stimulus in the "stimulus" bill actually. But unemployment would be at the great depression equivalent for this point in time, rather than 10%, had we not passed the stimulus.

Obama was right in the first place. Until big business put him in his place. Promoting made in America products. You want to creat Jobs? Promote domestic products. You will pay more but at least there will be good paying jobs for everyone and it will balance itself out.

AND the products will be safer and built better in most cases.

Either that or Obama has to even out the Trade dececit. Tell the chinese to start buying some American products!

They wont because they have their currency pegged to the dollar(which is illegal) and it is cheaper for them to make anything at home. Still? If they want their biggest importers to keep importing merchandise? They will comply!
