dude.....you DID know that the GOP only agreed to accept Reagan as the nominee if he took an "establishment" VP to balance the ticket, right?.......Bush was there to restrain Reagan....

To be extremely generous it is intellectually dishonest to compare Reagan and Trump. To be real it is flat out lying. So yeah as a Republican who admires Reagan I don't sit back and watch people like you sully his legacy

That's a spin the tale

Reagan won in a landslide as a populist. I agree Reagan was not pugnacious. But Reagan had been a life long democrat before switching parties.

He was not a populist, the man was as conservative as it gets. And he was Governor as a Republican and he went around the country speaking on behalf of conservative principles and candidates. Donald has done none of that. He's a Republican out of convenience and he's the death knell of the Reagan Revolution.

reagan did the best thing for the US in his time, just like a true nationalist would. I would be in favor of free trade too if all our competition were starting from bombed out husks.
