It's worth the tax raise.

It also lowers total costs overall. If you have your taxes raised but you end up paying less for healthcare overall, it's a positive. The thing that's EXPENSIVE right now is our HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. Even if Obama's plan had a literally 0% increase in efficiency, which is an absurd doomsday scenario, the average American would not be paying more.

I was just pointing out that, under the worst possible conditions, the average American loses nothing on this plan.

let me run this by you slowly, since you don't seem to understand....regardless of WHY the proposal will spend more money than revenue, it WILL spend more money than revenue.....thus, despite what you have already "told" me, it is NOT deficit neutral......

personally, I think you have all missed an important aspect of your funding proposal......you intend to pay for a third of the plan by raising taxes on the rich, and the other two thirds by not paying doctors......but, aren't the doctors the same rich people you intend to tax?.....and by not paying them, you make them less rich?.....and by making them less rich you eliminate your share of their income (taxes) that you need to pay for the plan?.....talk about the Law of Diminishing Returns......
