Obama Economics: Worse Than 9/11!

Just one month into the Obama administration, and already the numbers are dismal. Surpassing one of the worst economic events in recent history, the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

On Sept. 10, 2001 The Dow Jones Industrial Average was 9,605... One month later, on October 11, 2001, it had fallen 195 points to 9,410. On January 20, 2009, the DJI was 7,949, and has plummeted a whopping 584 points as of February 20, 2009. (Since then, it has fallen below 7,000 for the first time in 12 years.)

It is clear, the policies implemented by this administration, have been far more damaging to the economy than the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

He mean the pile of dog shit bush and co left after pillaging wall street. Bush owns the decline. Obama gets the recovery.

So far there hasn't been any recovering, we continue in free fall, despite electing Mr. Hope & Change! At this point, what he has suggested, and his actions thus far, have resulted in worse economic effects than 9/11. Now, you guys can try to pin that on Bush, but he's back in Crawford, and Republicans are sitting bound and gagged in the corner on Capitol Hill.

Why isn't it working, pinheads? Why hasn't The Messiah been able to turn the worm, and get the economy moving in the right direction... or fuck, just slow down it's unprecedented tanking?

"Why isn't it working, pinheads?"

You have lost your mind.

I feel like I've said that before, but it bears repeating.

I see some here have received their talking points memo from the Dnc..

it's all "Bush's fault" and we don't take responsibility for nothing. it's the same line you heard all day from the chickenshit talking heads on the lamestream media today..

*raising hand and shouting "pick me pick me"

Because the market doesn't like Mr. Hope and Change? Because since May/June of 08 when it became obvious that Mr. Hope and Change would be the DNC nominee it began a slide that rebounded when it looked like McCain might have a chance. That since Mr. Hope and Change took office it slowed and hoped, but that hope was quickly dashed by Mr. Hope and Change's anti-business and investment generational theft bill?

Am I right??? *hopeful look*

Dixie, I believe that it is unreasonable to literally expect an economic turnaround from the policies that a president who was elected a month ago put in place by a stimulus package that was passed a week ago that is loaded with money that hasn't been set out yet.

No.

I think you're pretty dang close to right. It does seem like, every time The Messiah speaks, the Dow takes a nosedive. Of course, for the next two years (at least) we'll have to tolerate idiots from the left, claiming this is all the fault of Bush and Bush policies, but that clearly can't be the case. If it were, they could point to specific things Bush did to cause this mess.... but they never do. The few who attempt to, will inevitably point to some Democrat-backed legislation, passed with a majority of Democrat support, against the will of Republican conservatives, during the last two years of the Bush presidency.

...But isn't Obama svelte looking? Doesn't he give an eloquent speech? Isn't it reminiscent of Camelot to have his family in the White House? Those are the things that really matter to liberal pinheads... the economy? Pft... they can just blame that off on Bush for another couple of years!

Yes, of course it's unreasonable to expect the most powerful man in the free world to do anything at all to stop what is happening! Of course, if this were McCain, and the markets continued to tank, how much "reasonableness" could we expect from the left?

Just because he's the most powerful man in the world doesn't mean he can turn around the economy in a month, no matter what policies he puts in place. Nobody can do that. We are talking about the president, not God.

What's the point in debating Dixie or any of these other retards? Nobody, who is not already on the koolaid, is buying anything he says.

Mott is right... arguing with Dixie is like playing wack-a-mole. I'll give him something - he has skill. He slithers out of arguments like nobody alive, mostly by posting so many fallacies that people don't even know where to start. Everytime he posts a large collective sigh can be heard from people of all stripes on JPP.com. It's like a ritual. It's JPP.com Mass - playing wack-a-mole with dixie.

All I have posted here is the actual numbers of the Dow Jones Industrial. There is nothing to "buy" unless you mean buying "reality" because that is what it is! Koolaid is not responsible for the actual numbers posted for the Dow, or the fact that it has declined more under the first month of Obama than the month following 9/11. That is just fact of reality. Bush isn't in charge of the government, Republicans aren't in charge of Congress, so... no koolaid being spewed there either, just plain and simple facts of reality.

Well I suppose debating Conservatives these days, is a bit like playing whack-a-mole, because we just keep popping up to challenge the idiocy from the left! But here's the thing I don't think Mott or yourself have stopped to consider... if it's like wack-a-mole with us, what does that say for your policies? Do we see a majority of people content with this sham and mockery? Hell no! We see people continue to post, and have to be "whacked" by the lefties! The fact that it feels like playing whack-a-mole, should be a good indicator of how extremely unpopular and baseless your ideology is.

What's more... It's going to get MUCH worse!
