Does everything go over your head or are you purposefully stupid? My POINT was that for Obama, of all people, to denounce anyone for not condemning what others from "their side" do, is HYPOCRITICAL. It has nothing to do with "they do it too".

What a fucking idiot you are. Who said those people should not have been allowed to boo? Who suggested the government should make that booing illegal? Who said the boosts should have been arrested? All that was said is that the candidates should have called them out. Free speech does not mean you can't disagreewith what people say!

Call them out for what? No laws were broken and everyone is exercising their constitutional rights. There is no "calling out". Take your intimidation tactics and shove them up your ass. Call me out, you little punk.
 
Were any such comments made in front of The President in a forum designed for the president to express his opinions?
 
Calling them out for doing something dumb and offensive and insentative to an American hero... Not telling them they did not have a right to be so insentative to someone fighting for the very freedom they were exercising.

Forcing our soldiers to accept open homosexuality in our armed forces is dumb, offensive and insensitive to ALL of our American heroes. That's the way you libs do things. You want to push your special interest groups down our throat and force us to accept their behavior as normal.

I need more evidence showing that they actually heard the boos before I'll be convinced that they should have called them out. If they actually were able to hear them, they should have said something. Shoot the "moderators" pretty much would have let any of them interrupt at any moment to speak, it happened several times.

I dislike this story, "the audience" did not boo the soldier. It is, IMO, deliberately inaccurate and should say, "when a small number of audience members" rather than "the audience".

As it stands, it appears as if at least Cain heard it, therefore they should have said something.

I'd like to give a benefit of the doubt to them, had it been live I think they would have said something... I also think that anybody talking about it should have thanked the soldier for his service.

I doubt it. With maybe three or four people in an audience of 6,000 I wouldn't be pressing that too hard. I don't think there is a politician out there that would be "for" people booing at soldiers, at least not one that expects to win.

My bet is I would be more like Onceler, pretty much ignoring the topic and letting people like webbway make posts like this one using stories that are clearly biased (I explained that one earlier).

But hey, you often can't remember anything I've said in the past so you really can't be said to be predictive of my actions.

I remember plenty of what you have said in the past.

Often you provide insightfull and intelegent perspectives that enlighten me to a POV that I had not considered. That POV however is always in support of a Republican and you are often blind to the dangers and hypocracy of the Religous Right. Then sometimes you make snarky comments negative toward a liberal position, without actually taking a postition so it is impossable to debate you on the subject.

You are very biased and appear to fail to consider any and all arguments relating to the liberal cause.
