They colluded with the union. It was right there in the article jackass. They took unpaid leave from the company, but was paid by the union - with union dues.

Union dues are collected by people of all affiliations – I pay into a union to improve my work conditions – not so some jackass can be paid to campaign for a politician they approve of.

Public unions support democrats and donate money collected from taxpayers to the democrat party

Democrats vote for increased benefits and pay for public unions

Public unions turn around and donate money to the democrat party
