Obama has begun to lose his celebrity status among allies as his naive approach to foreign affairs has surfaced. It is not only the President of France that is recognizing that the U.S. President lives in a virtual world, not the real world that is no longer enthralled with his magic voice.

The French have come around Blackie, recognized the failure of socialism and we real men like them again. Myself, I long ago stopped boycotting French Fries and French toast. In fact two winters ago I switched brands of skis from Austrian to French. :)

I'm sure the French appreciate your dollars .. hoiwever, socialism has been present in France for hundreds of years and is still very present there today.

The French, like all intelligent societites, continue to perfect and modify their form of givernment to suit the interests of an evolving world .. something Americans have yet to figure out.

By the way, all socialsm, as all democracy, is not the same. I'm a democratic socialist.

.. and just so you'll know, "blackie" is not appropriate coming from you .. but whatever.

We are like teenagers, we are still trying to figure it all out! We have this strength, this vitality, but like always it is wasted on youth! Why can't we all be Benjamin Buttons'?

:lmao:

Somehow, we'd still figure out how to screw it up.

We have such capacity .. limited by an even greater weaknesses.

So tell me when socialism started in france. Mr. History.

I call bullshit.

The appearance of the term "socialism" is variously attributed to Pierre Leroux in 1834, or to Marie Roch Louis Reybaud in France, or else in England to Robert Owen, who is considered the father of the cooperative movement.

.. but the roots of socialism began even sooner as populism.

Oh, you're talking about the word 'socialism', not the actual ruling system of france.

Why is it OK for you but not for me?

I don't call myself "blackie" sir.

When I said it wasn't appropriate for you is because I know you are a racist.

There are other white posters here who could have said that and I wouldn't have even noticed because I don't think them racist.

Don't get it twisted, you can say whatever you want to say .. just an fyi.
