Obama allowing travel, money transfers to Cuba

And I am claiming I have respect for laws within reason.
Bullshit. Substitute a decent cigar from companies that managed to get their expertise out of Cuba and now grow and manufacture elsewhere and you won't be able to tell the difference. In fact the non-Cuban cigar might be better. You're hung up on labels and being a scofflaw.

You haven't a clue what you are talking about. Domincan cigars are excellent, and most of the cuban cigar makers went there. But the soils of Cuba create a distinct taste.

You are simply hung up on finding some way to insult me.

Actually, it is you who are FOS:
Jerry - What do you think is the biggest myth that new cigar smokers buy into? ...

Gary - The biggest myths are that Cuban cigars are the best in the world, and that you have to pay big bucks for any decent cigar. ...

Jerry - Cuban cigars, are they over hyped? ....

Gary - Cuban cigars are the forbidden fruit, which makes them more desirable, especially if you never had one. They are overpriced, and in most cases, not better than a good Dominican, Honduran, or Nicaraguan cigar.

Or perhaps, like most things, people's tastes vary and Gary simply doesn't enjoy a cuban cigar as much as he enjoys other cigars.

Or perhaps they are over-priced BECAUSE of the embargo?

Or maybe he is correct and the "forbidden fruit" aspect improves the taste. Either way, the fact remains that if I get the opportunity to smoke another cuban cigar, I will jump at it.

While Gary makes his point well, is it just me who feels cheated that we're not getting more actual input from Jerry?

So I guess that though my unit was in Germany, and I lived in a barracks that were in a city in germany, because it was US leased and operated I WASN'T in Germany? Because I am sure you are aware that Gitmo is LEASED from Cuba so while the US has some limited possessory rights it is still OWNED by the Cubans.

If they were allowed to export those wonderful cigars, they could have a serious income for their nation and we could have some seriously good smokes.

They are allowed to export them. You are not allowed to import them.
I could go and buy a box now if I so wished.
Incidentally their cigar industry is still growing in spite of the global recession.
When WILL Americans realise the extent to which they are and have been duped by their successive governments?

Or perhaps Gary's an expert and knows what he's talking about, and you got sucked into the Cuban cigar shit. Admit it.

You've got flush toilets?

Together, Mr. Southern Man, we are making history. Never, in the course of human shadow daubings in cyber space has such an obvious statement as the one I made to you been so far above the head of the intended receiver.
I am not a Liberal .... so ...? now think. No,no,no, thinking doesnt mean scratching your bollocks and biting your tongue, even if to you, that represents multi-tasking.
I am not a Liberal and ... I am not a Republican .... AND I am not a Democrat. Still thinking?

You mean loo?

Loo? Oh no. Terribly infra dig. Lavatory is the correct and accepted term. just ask Whisky Liz and Phil the Greek.
Either is better than 'bathroom' or 'rest room'.
Popped into the 'bathroom' in MacDonalds and there, busying himself with a well worn loofah, was a starnge individual who spoke with a drawl and said things like 'gotten'.

What's obvious about "Donations to your trailer site?" It seems nothing more than bigotry against The South. Perhaps you can be a bit more clear.

Southern Africa? Southern England? Southern China? First define what YOU mean by South.
