Hang on to that propaganda. People in the USA are not happy with our health care system, with it's poor outcomes, exclusivity in favor of wealth, medical bankruptcies, and the high cost.

When people of Canada are asked if they would prefer a health system similar to that of the USA, they resoundingly JUST SAY NO.

Single payer will cut 30% of administrative overhead that has NOTHING to do with patient care.

I've experience this country's healthcare and it's coverage, at least with my personal experience. It's worked fine for ME for a long time. Since I don't give a fuck about you and yours, I don't give a fuck whether you have it or not and if you do, whether it's quality or not. You simply don't matter in my world.

I support universal healthcare, but this is a terrible idea. Universal healthcare works for countries, not regions. This is because if we only have single payer in NYC, then the wealthy will move out because of the 15% healthcare tax, and poor and homeless will all move in. Thats why we have national boundaries to keep healthcare pools balanced. In addition, universal healthcare only works when there are measures to reduce the cost of healthcare and be cost-effective. So NYC will just replace one over-priced healthcare for another. Also, providing universal healthcare to illegals who are breaking the law is going to bankrupt our system because millions more will just move in to get free healthcare while breaking the law and not actually supposed to be here.

Fine employers heavy fines for employing illegals. That will do more good than any wall.
