NYC; 92% Of Violent Crime Committed By NON-Whites

The OP is about race deary, learn to read, the big print....
You just can't face that fact and want to dwell on what the sex of offenders are....its no eye opener that men commit the largest percentage of crimes all over the world and of
every race.....the point is, you have no point...you just want to ignore the topic and move on......

and your opening words show you to be one of the racist here, not me.

There is not such thing as race, we are all humans.

You have no idea do you, you live in your little white privileged world and rarely step outside of it. You don't know many blacks, do you.

To you the real problem is that they are black and nothing more. True ignorance.

And he's probably the sanest of our racist here

I live in Richmond VA, we have many blacks so you are incorrect.
My best friend growing up had a grandfather (who lived directly behind me) who was a "slum lord". We went out to his properties here and there to do upkeep and repairs to make a few bucks. So we knew blacks of modest means in their house, literally. The interesting thing was his tenants loved Mr Smith. Why ? He grew up in the same neighborhood his properties were in. Dropped out in 4th grade fought alcoholism and turned his life around. He kept his places up, worked with tenants if they were having a.rough patch even helped them if they found themselves lost in alcholism. And then there were others in school etc. Hate to spoil your little fantasy. Well no I don't really. Point is I know plenty and because I do it breaks my heart to see what's become of the black community thanks to the left. I saw where it was headed and I see how it got hijacked.
To the left the problem is that they are black and therefore incapable of bettering their circumstances. So AA welfare etc got ma deal and the result is 97% of violent crime coming from their midst.

So, if you have seen the problem up close and personal, you know that these people don't make bad choices, generalizations like that are dishonest, just as saying that liberals keep the blacks in poverty and think they are incapable of bettering their circumstances.

I don't understand your last sentence, but you trivialize the problem, it is a very complicated issue as you have observed first hand. There are a lot of very good, hard working poor blacks and they don't deserve your generalizations.

There used to be a lot more hard working honorable black folks of modest means. I saw it transition in the people, in the neighborhoods and across the once proud black community.
And bad decisions abound. And the government helped by adding regulations that made low income housing impossible for private real estate providers. This forced the poor into the projects. These dumps were a huge step down. It's hard to miss the cause and effect when you're watching it in real time up close and personal.
But boy you should see Church Hill now ! (From Patrick Henry's St John's Church among others.) No blacks to be found, houses restored and bringing in loads of property tax revenue that does not get used for infrastructure but disappears somewhere. What a long strange trip it's been.

Like education : as in blacks deriding other blacks who study and learn as acting white
Like socioeconomic : as in preferring to act non white and exit schooling without education

It's importent to take responsibility and accountability into the equation. Blacks choose their paths in life. Can't blame schools, cities spend lavishly on education with no ROI. It's time, past time, to admit the real problems. It's good that things such as the article in question sees the light of day to show the true cost of ignoring it.

What are the real problems then?

Your point about schools is shaky, there is no lavish spending on schools in poor districts where many blacks live.

No its valid but you dont know why. Per student spending is lavish as much as double. This is the usual barometer and the one published, not my choice. But pols love it as it lends the illusion that the money is actually being spent ON THAT student which of course its not. Crumbly schools ? No, not being spent on that either. Teachers get quiet a lot but not necessarily per head but in head count. With white flight and slowing birth rates we have quite a lot more teachers relative to students than ever before. And the call for more teachers never ends despite this.

Real problem ? Parent(s).

The best teacher in the world cannot teach a kid who is not being required to learn. The worst teacher in the world cant foil the efforts of a student who WILL learn.

You can try to blame that on whitey or rebel flags or whatever other excuse you want but liberal policy facilitated it all.

Well I live in Pittsburgh, not as many blacks as Richmond, but I know as fact that the minority neighborhood schools are very poor. They don't have the best teachers, a lot of activities or a lot of resources.

I agree with your point about parents needing to be fully involved in their kids' educations but don't hold liberal policy responsible. That's a catchphrase IMO for placing blame but not really working to fix problems. Conservatives are the largest ideological group in the country by many percentage points, what are they doing to change so-called liberal policy?

If you are a teacher would you rather teach kids that want to learn or ones that do not ?
Activities are very often parent driven. If the parents are disconnected thats one of the results.
Resources ? Combination of uninspired teachers and little demand.

You may want to run that idea of conservatism being dominant one past your more fringy lefties, they seem to think its all but extinct. But we're talking cities and if they are of any size they are more often dominated by liberals.

The sad fact Rana, is that there is more to this than just race, but people like evince, Christie, and yourself just look at it in terms of race rather than the true factors that effect crime, like education and socioeconomic conditions. It is your simply minds that won't allow you to look at the whole picture.

So we can dispense with AA, civil rights, Black Caucus, NAACP, and all the rest ?

Hopefully in time, the millennials are a lot more tolerant of each other than is my generation, so maybe, at some point in the future there will be no need for these organizations that insure everyone is treated equally.

Gawd, you are a stupid bitch!

You can put a state-of-the-art, 200 million dollar high school in a negro neighborhood and they will tear the shit out of it in a few short years.

Why build them then?
