Whatever. My opinion stands. The news media is numb to trump's shit-show and skip over a lot of his stepping on his dick. They do, however seem to lose their shit whenever Biden gaffs.

"Trump has 91 criminal indictments." That is the only story every newspaper should be reporting.

Trumpers feel the same way.

All the polls had Trump losing outside the margins of error. With Hillary the polls were much closer. If you look into it I think you'll find modern polls have a track record that shows their reliability.

I think the message was Trump's criminal prosecutions should get the extensive news coverage they deserve. Seems to me they are getting it in the actual news coverage Trump voters like to overlook. Every day there's something or multiple somethings.

I thought he was Right Wing when I first saw him. Just his delivery. He was far and away the worst interviewer in history, second behind David Letterman perhaps. The latter used his guests as props in order to crack jokes. Connie Chung once did a piece about her time on Letterman.

She talked about not being able to get a word in, and during commercial they would discuss the next segment. According to her, 'we discussed the topics I would never get a chance to discuss'.

Matthews was the worst when it came to serious interviews. I often wondered why he even had guests?

Sometimes. Susan Collins won overwhelmingly last time around, despite being behind substantially in polls.

In this instance, it isn't about criminal indictments and polling.

It's about the bias involved in asking the participants about Biden's age and purported mental decline, without addressing the same with trump.

Most polling has trump over Biden right now, while we know that there is no way trump will get women to vote against their own best interests.

This might come down to apathy, in which case the kids get what they deserve if they don't vote.

I found it amusing when millions of women marched against trump after the '16 election. I wonder how many of them couldn't be bothered to vote for Hillary?

A straight election poll (the kind fivethirtyeight used just before 2020 election ) simply asks do you plan to vote and if so for whom.

I understand. I believe the premise of this thread is the seeming anti Biden bias that is being shown not only by the Times, but other typically Left leaning individuals and outlets.

If I'm not mistaken, I thought 538 didn't do their own polling? I thought they just evaluate an average of all other polls?

Right, they don’t poll, they publish individual polls, also average them. Right before the 2020 election they published a list of dozen or so polls. All had Biden easily the winner.
