She stated in 1979 she identified as a lesbian. She is married to a man and given birth to two children. Denies being bisexual. States she is a monogamous heterosexual. So it looks like homosexuality is now officially a choice.

Remember Anne Hesch ? C list actress who hooked up with Rosie Odonnell to raise her profile. Profile rise so she got married etc.
Sometimes the choice is overt, other times less so
 
Each situation is different. Homosexuality is not a choice and will not "become" a choice.

But if you would like to think of it as a choice than people should have the freedom to love whoever they want. So it doesn't matter if you think it's a choice or not.

I have yet to find anybody who can tell me logically why it should matter if it is a choice or not. Adults can make choices you find icky, and there is nothing you can, or should want to, do about it.

You can't have it both ways. You say homosexuality isn't a choice right after you say each case is different. Is she gay or hetero?

What I mean by each case is different is that many people choose to lie about their sexual orientation for whatever reason. You can't always trust everything everyone says.

Also, I don't see why it matters. All that matters is her happiness, and she should be with whoever makes her happy.
