Nunes Not Giving Up, Will Expose FISA Abuse

For various reasons, the president or his staff doesn’t want to do it. Therefore, I think it’s important if the president doesn’t want his hands on it, we have to have somebody, some office, that’s going to look at all of these issues and all of these documents that need to be declassified. I’m going be working with my colleagues to work on and send some example over to the president of a transparency type of office, so that the Congress, the American people, others can put in requests of documents or issues that they want declassified. That way the president doesn’t have to take this full burden on and the Congress has somewhere where we can go to try to avoid the swamp creatures from getting involved and ensuring that the American public is kept in the dark.“

Nunes is doing what he can. Why won't Comey cooperate in the current investigation? Why was Comey pleading the fifth?

The Steele Dossier, as it is now called, was prepared by Glenn Simpson and his intelligence firm, Fusion GPS. They were contracted to perform the investigation on Trump’s ties to Russian corruption. Fusion GPS sub-contracted former British MI6 intelligence agent, Christopher Steele, to prepare the bulk of the dossier. Steele is universally respected and has been found to be absolutely reliable. I've ALWAYS wondered how Trump picked this no-name congressman from CA, a "farmer", out of the GOP pack. Nunes seems to be pretty unassuming (and charmless) so how did he ingratiate himself with Trump? Unless somehow Nunes simply let Trump know early on, he'd do his bidding. It was always an odd political pairing to me.

it will never happen. POTUS can either please our 5 Eyes partners like Australia who don't want the unreleased FISA
pages de-classified or not. There is no magic office that will do it for him and not take political pressure .
POTUS has to either declassify as he said he would, or bow to their pressures
