Yes. Like Robert Mueller, I was/am a Marine who graduated from Army Ranger School. That was a long time ago.

I spoke to a police officer and a detective recently. Both have only a couple years left to retirement, and can't wait to get out. Both tell their kids to avoid joining the police force.

What lax gun laws?

First, because of gun banners, it's nearly impossible for a private citizen to sell guns.

Second, every gun I've purchased in the last 15 years included a background check.


If you want to lay blame, blame a society that doesn't give a fuck about the mentally ill until they commit a mass murder....then the only reaction from the Left is to ban guns.

When the anti-gun folks roll suicides into their "gun violence" numbers and imply they were all victims of murder, I lose all trust and confidence in their position.
