It's just a shame that we allowed our indigenous nuclear industry to die, they were going to build two Hitachi boiling water reactors in Texas but I believe they have been cancelled.

Yes it is a terrible shame, especially for us Americans. True energy independence requires nuclear power.

The Germans swore to abandon nuclear technology. Which means they'll be buying power from France.
