That is the point, clearly referenced often, that many are not getting. Until we can replace it ( which we cannot do immediately, now, at all) we need it. Unless everyone is going back to reading books by candlelight and cooking with wood.

Well, wood is a carbon fuel lol.

It is what it is. We are stuck with carbon, at least, for the near to medium term.

Of course Obama did not criticize them. Without them everyone got to see what the man did not know. Ahh, Ahhhhhh, and Ahhhhhh. That comment being out of the way, I agree with you about Trump. He does have a habit of engaging his mouth before his brain thinks about what it is saying. Comes back and bites him in the kista.

Exactly. Can that be changed? I think so. But as you so correctly point out, we are not doing it overnight. This should be a long term goal and taken as far out of politics are possible. Then it would become a reality.
