Now we got UPS drivers getting shot,

Disagree, the Holder Case wasn't based on the Constitution, they completely threw out the Prefatory Clause to the Second Amendment

And no matter who you are you'd have to stretch the First Amendment to interpret that a Corporation as an entity has speech and religious rights

Finally, a voice of reason. Not only did they toss out the Prefatory Clause, those 5 ignored the historical foundations of the 2nd. The militia and why we wanted an armed civilian population in the first place. Those conditions no longer exist and the 2nd applies almost as much as an appendix in modern society.

Douchebag Donald just got elected, and you believe that the historical conditions for the 2nd do not apply in 2016?

A corporation is a group of people authorized to act as a single entity and recognized as such in law....no stretch at all....

That bird has flown away years ago.....

So now show us how Constitutionally a corporation has freedom of religion, and, keep in mind, you have to do it as a strict Constructionist

Who speaks for the corporation? The entire populace or those fucks in the ivory tower? The "corporation" has been sued by its own "people".

I don't have to do anything, including explain anything to you....I follow the law....which says,

corporations, as far as the law is concerned, are legal persons, and have many of the same rights and responsibilities as natural persons do. Corporations can exercise human rights against real individuals and the state, and they can themselves be responsible for human rights violations. Corporations can be "dissolved" either by statutory operation, order of court, or voluntary action on the part of shareholders. Insolvency may result in a form of corporate failure, when creditors force the liquidation and dissolution of the corporation under court order,[7] but it most often results in a restructuring of corporate holdings. Corporations can even be convicted of criminal offenses, such as fraud and manslaughter. However, corporations are not considered living entities in the way that humans are.

It speaks to the weakness of your argument that you feel the need to attack. Keep fighting to take away guns and watch gun ownership continue to grow

Yep. I watched those gun store owners take you clueless motherfuckers to the cleaners when a black President was elected. It was very amusing. They milked the ignorant, knee jerk tards to the max. Exorbitant prices for both guns and ammo. And the lemmings, the same Trumptards today, bought it hook, line and sinker.

So violence and murder have decreased dramatically in this country. That's a good thing. You want no guns and that's not going to happen

That's the problem with conservatives when anyone raises the gun problem, right away they assume someone wants to take away their guns, not a bad idea, but no one is recommending such

Guns need to be regulated, you want a solution, treat them like we do automobiles, you have to pass a test to use one, you have to register it, you have to do both again periodically, and you have to buy liability insurance in case your gun causes personal injury to another.

another victim of a false news report.......some brainless liberal posts about Nazis and a man in a brown uniform gets shot.....

I have yet to talk to a RW gun nut that has s single fucking clue about the origins, intent and more recent rulings in the 2nd.

More guns is their collective, ignorant answer.

Supreme Court of the United States
District of Columbia et al v. Heller
26 June 2008

The [Second] Amendment's prefatory clause announces a purpose, but does not limit or expand the scope of the second part, the operative clause. The operative clause's text and history demonstrate that it connotes an individual right to keep and bear arms.

You don't even have to be a lawyer to understand that....

Honestly, I am a member of the Air National Guard - something that many consider a truly modern state militia. But I grew-up without guns, and still don't own or operate any. There's plenty of gun nuts on this very site, with and without military service, who are very well read on this stuff.

I understand Heller completely, moron. Do you understand the initial purpose of the Second in the context of the militia? Probably not. 4 of the 5 judges did. Too bad Scalia didn't die sooner. For almost the entire history of this country, there was never the concept of what the NRA has shoved up your ass regarding the Second.

But, let's go into Heller a little deeper. Even Scalia said this. You don't have the right to carry any gun, any place, or any time. Just as with any right, there are restrictions. That's where you barrel stroking motherfuckers don't get it.

cops getting shot, gunmen roaming colleges, and still the daily carnage in America's inner cities, and as constant as ever, conservatives keep telling us more guns is the solution to this madness. As is, any madman, dimwit, guy with a grudge, documented potential terrorist, or just about anyone in America can obtain a weapon legally, and conservatives want to make it even more convenient

At what point does common sense take over?

when more people arm themselves, that's common sense. the reason these incidents are happening is that a majority of people still want to believe that only bad people carry guns, which becomes a self fulfilling prophecy allowing them to blame guns........idiocy.

I have yet to see one.

That's not true, no right in the Bill of Rights is absolute, never were, nor intended as such. Gun rules and regulation are Constitutional, even Scalia admitted such at the end of his opinion in the Holder case, which by the way will be overturned some day, the opinion of the conservative Court was illogical

it is the absolute height of stupidity to believe that the founders would give one letter of authority or power to a new central government to regulate firearms after they had just won independence from a central government that tried to regulate their firearms. Scalia was no originalist, nor a constitutionalist, and therefore all his opinions should be suspect and criticized any time they stray from actual freedom.
