The president’s personal attorney jumped to an unusual legal conclusion based on Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution to defend Trump’s efforts to pressure Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden — which Giuliani is continuing to pursue this week in a visit to Kyiv.

Who ever heard of a president being impeached for carrying out his constitutional mandate?”

Presidential Legal Obligations 101:

Art 2, Sec. 3 of the US Constitution obligates the President to investigate and ask for investigations of corruption in countries we provide funds to.

Who ever heard of a president being impeached for carrying out his constitutional mandate?

Just more propaganda.

The only reason this is being thrown out there is because Pelosi has correctly stated that Democrats are only doing their Constitutional duty.

And, by not joining in the oversight of the President, Republicans are not doing THEIR Constitutional duty. Republicans are violating their oaths of office to be a member of the House that has the SOLE POWER of impeachment. If these people, these Republicans, do NOT seriously attempt to learn all of what happened (subpoena those key witnesses!) then they are shirking their duty to protect us. We entrust in them this duty, that when there is reasonable question that the President has violated his oath of office, THESE REPUBLICANS SWORE THEY WOULD PROTECT US BY LOOKING INTO THAT. They are the ones who have made a sham of the hearings by not doing so, and when they took a defensive stance they violated their oaths that they swore to us, We The People.

House Republicans on these committees should be ashamed of themselves. I am ashamed of them. They have soiled their offices. They are a disgrace!

They should be issuing a subpoena to Giuliani and enforcing it with threat of imprisonment.

SWEAR HIM IN !!!

SWEAR HIM IN !!!

SWEAR HIM IN !!!

Wait, you're criticizing others for throwing shit against the wall to see what sticks? Shirley you can't be serious.

Here's the nonsense propaganda opinion junk story that Republicans cannot discern from fact:

Of all the countries in the world, all over the entire Earth, and the President sworn to fight corruption wherever he sees it, any place on Earth....

The person he calls up on the phone as a world fighter of corruption no matter where it occurs,

President Zelenski of Ukraine, a nation Trump already didn't like because they mocked him.

That's BS. You're bought in. We are not.

And how does Trump act on this valiant world-wide battle against 'corruption?'

He wants 'a favor' that Zelenski should go after Biden.

Now, let me tell you how this sounds to a person who is not a fan of the President.

BS

It is NOT FACT. all of this garbage about 'fighting coruption?'

BS

NOT FACT.

It's a made up story so you have something to cling to.

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but you should really know. It's not fact. It's fake. It was made up so you can have a way to justify what the President did. I know you want to believe this is all about fighting corruption. Well, it is, actually. The corruption is right there in our own White House.

If you are fighting corruption you are on a serious mission. You do it with official actions. As President of the USA, you have a lot of power to make things happen. You don't need any 'favors.' That's BS! Fighting corruption is the right thing to do. Everyone who is good will want to cooperate with that. It's not done as a favor. It is done with a conviction to do the right thing. Zelenski is a good man. If this was a warranted investigation that obviously needed to be done a good man would jump on it right away after simply being alerted to the problem. He would not have to be asked, and if he would not do it anyway, he certainly would not do it frivolously as a favor. Why didn't he begin the investigation?

Didja ever wonder why not?

It's because it was a BS investigation 'favor' request, that's why!

If USA law enforcement suspects a crime, they go through channels. They have relationships with compatriots in the other nations. It doesn't require the President. That's beneath his level. If he got involved with law enforcement, he is micromanaging. It's not like he's going after Osama Bin Laden.

No.

It just happened to be his biggest political rival. Just total coincidence, right? Out of all the corruption in the whole wide world?
BS

That's what it is. It is totally GULLIBLE to think this is just some big coincidence.

”Is it true, as the image suggests, that Hunter Biden was serving as "a director to Ukraine’s largest private gas producer" when the elder Biden "threatened to withhold $1 BILLION in U.S. aid to Ukraine if they didn’t fire a prosecutor looking into" the gas company?

• Hunter Biden did hold a directorship for a Ukrainian gas company while his father was vice president. Experts agree that Hunter Biden's acceptance of the position created a conflict of interest for his father

• Vice President Joe Biden did urge Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor, with the threat of withholding U.S. aid. But that was the position of the wider U.S. government, as well as other international institutions.”

If it was really about investigating corruption, TRE45ON wouldn't have said "I need you to do me a favor" first... especially in the next breath after Zelenskyy stated that he wanted to buy Javelin missiles from the U.S. If it was really about corruption, TRE45ON would have said something like "We stand with you in your efforts to clean up the corruption from the past. Let us know how we can help you." That would have been the diplomatic, statesmanlike POTUS response to this concern. But nope, he stated flat out that he wants the connections to the Bidens looked into. And as we found out later, he really didn't care about *that* -- what he really wanted is for Zelenskyy to just make an announcement of an investigation, thinking that that would have been enough to besmirch his #1 2020 rival's reputation.

Trump cares about corruption about as much as we care about whether our neighbors vacuum under their couch or not.
