slasher, when I see repukes wanting to make ALL poor people pay even more taxes than they already pay while giving massive tax cuts to the rich I consider it a war on the poor.

Rich people who do no work pay 15% on capital gains while the poor and middle class pay payroll taxes.

The rich only create jobs for Republican politicians, lobbyists, tax lawyers and accountants, as far as I can see.

They actually have the nerve to demand that their taxes be lowered again.

Remember that the poor and middle classes also pay disproportionately more in sales taxes, property taxes, governmental services fees (taxes), transportation taxes, all kinds of taxes. The big picture has NEVER been pretty for taxes and the poor and middle classes in actual proportion to their richer counterparts. This bullshit about the poor not paying taxes is just that, bullshit. But, it feeds the ignorant that also consistently vote against themselves and against the well being of this nation.
