What the fuck does farming have to do with it? California is a major farming state, and California is about 50% Hispanic and black, and it's still better educated than a massively white state like West Virginia, let alone all the Republican states of the South.

Most of the top farming states are reasonably well educated, aka California, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kansas, Ohio, Washington, South Dakota.
Look at the line of demarcation in California. Where is most of the farming in California going on?
