Nothing Sacred for Hamas: Terror Command Center Found in Tunnel Beneath Cemetery

We fight, We win, Am Yisrael Chai
IDF soldiers with the 98th Division uncovered a Hamas terrorist command center in a tunnel beneath one of the unlikeliest places: the Bani Suheila town cemetery in the heart of Khan Younis. LTC Barak, operations officer with the 98th Division, described what they found..

While investigating the tunnel, Israeli forces found explosives, sliding doors and blast-proof doors, while also eliminating terrorists who were inside.

Inside the tunnel route, the forces located an office from which a Khan Younis Brigade battalion commander managed the attack on October 7th.

Yahoo and the Licky boys supported HAMAS as a counter to the PLO.

HAMAS derives from the population in GAZA and the West Bank. They are not from out of town.

There is no battlefield for the IDF and HAMAS to go at it outside of populated areas.

Illegal "settlements" have been encroaching on Palestinian land for years ... mostly resulting in the eviction or murder of Palestinians.

HAMAS are no angels by any measure, but as the old saying goes, you reap what you sow.

The illegal settlements would have been a footnote in history now if Abbas had signed up to an agreement with Olmert back in 2008. Sadly like Arafat he backed out at the last moment. Olmert told him that this would their last chance for an agreement for a generation.

Abbas never said no’ to 2008 peace deal, says former PM Olmert

Leader who offered Palestinians a state claims that behind closed doors, PA president ‘regrets that he didn’t sign’; adds that Hamas military threat doesn’t worry him

United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, center, gestures to Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, right, and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, left, at a meeting at a hotel in Jerusalem, on February 19, 2007.

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was privately in favor of the unprecedented peace deal that he walked away from in 2008, former prime minister Ehud Olmert said Thursday.

“It was obvious that he was entirely for it,” said Olmert, who negotiated with Abbas under American auspices in 2007 and 2008.

“I think that when someone will talk to him privately, eye to eye, behind closed doors, he will say that he regrets that he didn’t sign.”

Olmert said he had offered a near-total withdrawal from the West Bank, proposing that Israel retain 6.3% of the territory in order to keep control of major Jewish settlements. He said he offered to compensate the Palestinians with Israeli land equivalent to 5.8% of the West Bank, along with a link to the Gaza Strip — another territory meant to be part of a future Palestinian state.

Olmert was also prepared to divide Jerusalem into two Israeli- and Palestinian-controlled cities, and to relinquish Israeli sovereignty over the Temple Mount and the entire Old City. He proposed that the “Holy Basin” be overseen instead by a five-member, non-sovereign international trusteeship, comprising Israel, the PA, Jordan, the US and Saudi Arabia.

He described the offer to give up Israeli control of the Old City as the hardest day of his life.

Abbas said in 2015 that he supported the idea of territorial swaps, but that Olmert had pressed him into agreeing to the plan without allowing him to study the proposed map.

Abbas said he also felt Olmert’s offer to accept a symbolic number of Palestinian refugees into Israel did not resolve the issue — because descendants of Palestinian refugees now number in the millions, many scattered across the region.

Gaza is not poor. It has natural resources that any decent government should be utilising such as offshore oil and gas fields.

The problem is that in 2006 they put a load of terrorist nut jobs in charge. Their only policy is the destruction of Israel so every last penny is spent on that aim.

They could be building desalination plats to remove the dependence on Israel for water. They could be building combined heat and power stations. Gaza because of its size would be ideal for such technology.

Hamas digs up water pipes to use as missiles to fire into Israel. Then it whines to the world when Israel cuts off water supplies.

Hamas has caused civil wars in every country it has been located. It needs to be destroyed North Gaza has already been cleared but Khan Yunis still requires further fumigating from Hamas vermin.

The Democrats in Congress and University students and faculty across America support Hamas.

Think about that.

So, you have The Young Turks, a radical, far, Leftist opinion video source making a one-sided opinion piece against Israel. How usual. They dismiss everything Israel tells them as untrue or a lie while offering nothing supporting their own positions. TYT makes MSNBC look like they're to the Right of Fox...

No stupid, we have a CNN reporter IN THE FIELD who accompanied an IDF unit who wanted to a record to justify their actions.

THEY COULDN'T PROVIDE THE PHYSICAL PROOF ON SITE.

If you can find any on site news report from any network that shows otherwise, you can just continue to blow smoke to no avail.

Sorry Earl, you can detour from this one. If can't provide any comparative news sources that counters the CNN report, you can just blow smoke to no avail.

The usual supposition and conjecture from right wing wonks that leaves out a LOT of historical details....blowing smoke to avoid the FACTS of my two posts. Typical.

It's also not true, he saw the map in private. Abbas says he bitterly regrets not signing up for the deal, it's too late now matey. Look how your bosom buddies are behaving towards Ham-arse, are you going to defend the bitches?

Hamas has to be totally eradicated this time, what the fuck can you do when you find the UN is aiding and abetting them?

I certainly believe Hamas is a terrorist government which has caused a lot of Gaza's problems. But lying about how bad Gaza is will help no one.

Gaza is not poor.

In the real world, Gaza is poor. We can debate why it is poor, but no sane person would say Gaza is not poor.

It has natural resources that any decent government should be utilising such as offshore oil and gas fields.

Gaza is not a country, and has no territorial waters. Israel has territorial waters, which it bans Gazans from accessing.

They could be building desalination plats to remove the dependence on Israel for water.

They had to shutdown the desalination plants, because of no fuel. Desalination plants need fuel, which cannot be imported at this time.

They could be building combined heat and power stations.

Gaza does not have a major problem with cold weather. Investing a huge amount into district heating would be a mistake in Gaza.

And, CNN couldn't disprove it either. TYT took lack of evidence as proof of Israel lying and doing evil.
